Wildwood Crest is rolling out a new Adopt-A-Beach program. The anti-litter campaign will see non-profit organizations or volunteer groups adopt one of the borough’s 42 beach street ends for the purpose of litter abatement. Those registered would be required to conduct litter pickup a minimum of four times per year, with two cleanups occurring between January and April and two cleanups occurring between September and December each year. The Wildwood Crest Department of Public Works will arrange for the recycling and/or disposal of all collected litter.
