School children in Atlantic City have allies in the NJEA and the Education Law Center in Newark. Both organizations said on Wednesday they could take legal action to keep the schools open if the Atlantic City runs out of money. The ELC says tay would work with both parents and students to keep the schools open through the end of the school year if state funding is insufficient. The local school board said they would work with the ELC in their legal action if school closings pose a serious threat.
