Earth Day Celebration

On Saturday, April 23, 2022, Cape May County Park & Zoo will co-host its Earth Day Celebration with the Cape May County MUA. This year’s theme “Invest in our Planet” encourages people to change it all — the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate. Over 50 environmentally friendly exhibitors will fill the tents on the main field with assorted conservation and eco worthy goods and displays.
The day kicks off with entertainment for the kids and opening ceremony at 10:00 am. This year special guests and costume characters will amuse while teaching everyone how they can help “Save Planet Earth!”
Highlights for the day include a nature scavenger hunt, Story Time with the Cape May County Library, Superhero Training, Trivia and Games, and music all day by Master DJ & Sound. The ever-popular Drum Circle will end the day with earthy rhythms and vibes.
Along with delicious food trucks and goodies to snack on, the field will offer some of the finest crafters and their trinkets for perusal. A photo booth, inflatable bounce houses and rides will be on hand for more free fun for the kids.
