First Days of Spring at Cattus Island

Historical Cattus Island provides a unique habitat of salt marshes & woodland. We will hike approximately 6-7 miles ( depending on weather & trail conditions) of easy trails enjoying the beginning of Spring in the salt marsh. Also there are several bail out points to make hike shorter if needed. Ideal beginners hike. The diverse natural setting is enjoyed by everyone. Additional option to take quick tour of the recently restored environmental center. Indoor facilities! Located off Fischer Blvd in Toms River.
