Hike on The Green Trail at Brendan Byrne

We will hike the the new Glassworks (green) trail loop for 8.4 miles in a clockwise direction..This trail follows sand roads and forest around the southern portion of Brendan Byrne.The trailhead is near the group camping area and there is a restroom.We will stop for a few breaks along the way.There is a challenging water crossing near the end of the hike.Bring water and snacks.If you like bring your lunch for after the hike, there are picnic tables close by.We will hike at a moderate 3mph pace.Questions contact Al DiCianni asilviod888@yahoo.com,732 569-6858(home) 848 226- 8132(cell) day of hike only.
