McMahon Park to Aberdeen Township on the Henry Hudson Trail

This hike is the first section of the northern part of the Henry Hudson Trail.The trail is relatively flat,as you travel through both man-made and natural environments.Much of the trail is tree-lined,though some parts have views of surrounding wetlands, streams and fields.This part of the trail provides uninterrupted views of Sandy Hook Bay with bridge crossings over numerous creeks.This trail runs parallel to Route 36,where there are stores and restrooms.There are no restrooms on the trail itself.
